Digimon Partners

My Digimon partners are a Patamon named Sky and a Dorumon named Raptor. I first met them as a child, and we've been partners ever since. I met Sky when I was younger, so she had to endure the childhood nicknaming, but it took over a decade for Raptor to finally get a nickname, and he doesn't care enough about names to have an opinion on it. I wondered for a long time why I would have two partners instead of one like is typical for most people, but at this point, I've accepted that it ultimately doesn't matter.

It's harder to find the brain space to spend as much time together nowadays compared to when I was younger, but we still try to do things together when we can, whether it's watching movies together with Sky or going on walks with Dorumon. That's just what it's like being an adult "chosen child"—contrary to what recent movies seem to claim, partnership isn't so easily broken by time! The link between your cores remains regardless of your distance, because however our bond was formed, whether it be fate or circumstance, we're together for life.

Doesn't see a point in having hobbies, focused on keeping himself and his companions safe. His forest territory is very important to him. He has red eyes and claws, and his white fur extends further up his muzzle.

Aside from his side evolution into Reptiledramon, Raptor has a pretty typical evolution line for his species. Sky's line is quite unique, though. She's never evolved into Angemon, which inherently means that most official merchandise featuring that line doesn't resonate with us. She has a little brown bracelet that she uses to evolve to Pegasusmon and beyond, but her energy-based evolutions are tied to her virus line that she can tap into when she slide evolves into Tsukaimon. We're not sure why this is, but it could be tied to my greater resonance with the virus attribute in general; by tapping into my energy to evolve, she might also tap into that resonance.

I don't know what my crest is, and it's never played a part in my partners' evolutions thus far. As a child, I thought it might be the Crest of Friendship, but now I'm not so sure; I think something like a Crest of Honesty fits me more, but I don't have any proof either way.
