How many characters Rakuhaka has differs based on your criteria, but the relatively small cast of each world allows you to get to know them. Below is a spoiler-free introduction to all the characters in the game, as well as the categories they fall into.
image | Cai Kaneiki (金逝カイ) The older one of the Kaneiki brothers. Cai is boistrous, confident, and curious, simultaneously invested in and detached from the world. Treasures are the most important things in the world to him, and his younger brother Bel falls under that category. He steals whatever he wishes, believing that it all belongs in his hands, but has a particular moral code he follows that doesn't always align with others'. His special ability is called Destruction, and it allows him to destroy anything in his path. Type: Main Character, Major Character, Named Character |

He believes that everything his brother desires should be granted to him, and that his existence is equivalent to a god's. As such, he tries to have others respect and worship his brother as well, and carries around a handwritten bible about him. His special ability is called Self-Questioning, and it allows him to draw power from asking himself and others about the meaning of their existence and use it to perform a variety of feats that suit his needs. image | Butterfly (蝶) A loudmouthed and frivolous butterfly that teams up with the brothers on their journey through Paradise. He loves to tease others and get reactions out of them, poking at their sore spots, but can be surprisingly fretful and caring towards his companions once he actually grows attached. Cameos
Marutoku's works often reference each other, and Rakuhaka has been involved in this as well.
Rakuhaka itself contains a reference to ZENO in the form of the idol group WHITE★knight, which the "Mysterious Fanboy" is a big fan of.
Ghost Six especially contains a great deal of references to Marutoku and Nemurita (their collaboration partner) works.

The rabbit game in Sumire's phone references the Mysterious Fanboy's room, with its butterfly curtains and Monkey Submarine box.
